Domenico was born and raised in Sora, a small town outside of Rome, Italy. His family
settled in Ottawa when he was 8 years old. He has been married for 28 years and has
three children and a dog.
Domenico has a degree in music and has been a musician since he was 8 years old; his
instrument of choice is the accordion, but plays 5 other instruments, and sings, as well.
Currently, Domenico plays in a local Italian band and has gigs throughout the City of
Ottawa. He also has a passion for soccer, and has spent many years as a referee and
coach for various leagues.
Domenico also holds a 3rd degree Black Belt in Aikado Karate and a Black Stripe in Tae
Kwan Do.
Currently, Domenico is the President of the St Anthony’s Parish Ushers, as he feels it is
important to contribute to his community.
Domenico joined the Knights of Columbus 10 years ago and was a Grand Knight at St
Anthony’s Council 11726. Furthermore, Domenico is a 4th Degree member of Father J.L
Reynolds Assembly No. 1670 and was currently in the role as the Faithful Navigator.
During his first year, Domenico was elected as the KofC District Deputy for District 101
and is now District Deputy for District 1. He looks forward to continue being an influential
contributor to the KofC group in the years to come.
Ron joined the Knights of Columbus in November 1968: Council 2403 - District 52 in
Timmins,ON. He served as an executive member of Council 2403 from 1974-76. He became
member of Council 7873 in 1991.
Ron was elected Secretary/Treasurer of K of C Ottawa Archdiocesan Association in the 90's.
Ron then served as Comptroller of Bishop John Beahen Assembly 2230 from 1983-1994. He
was elected and served as Faithful Navigator from 1994 to 1995. Ron was then elected
Grand Knight of Divine Infant Council 7873 for 2 years (2005-2007).
After his term he served as Trustee in 2007 for 3 years. He was named District Warden from
2007 to 2010 then was appointed as District Deputy for District 66 from 2010 to 2013. He
was then appointed State Reports and Information Director from 2013-2015. He has served
as State Training Chairman in 2015-2017. Ron was named State Youth Director in 2016-2017.
He was elected as Director of the Ottawa Archdiocesan Association for a three year term
from 2017-2019. Ron was named as State Family & Seniors Director in July 2017. He is
presently serving as District Deputy for District #1 Ottawa.

Alain was born in Hawkesbury and raised in Alfred. He has been married to Francine for
26 years and they have two children, Matthieu and Angélique. Alain has a degree as an
“Agricultural Technology”.
He became a Columbian Squire in 1981, where he served as Treasurer and Recorder
until he joined the Knights of Columbus in 1984 with Council 3486 in Alfred. He served as
Recorder of that Council for 5 years. Alain’s father is also a proud Knight of Council 3486
in Alfred.
His journey into Knighthood continued when he was exemplified as a Fourth Degree
member of Noël Leduc Assembly. He later transferred to Council 6237, St Isidore in 2005.
In 2010, Alain served as District Warden for 2 years. He was then appointed District
Deputy #85 in 2012 and served a three year term. He is presently Faithful Navigator of
Assembly #1753, in Plantagenet. In 2019, he volunteered to help the Archdiocesan
Association and is, of this date, serving as its Treasurer.
Daniel joined the Order in 2007 with the St-Louis-Marie-de-Montfort council 7190 and
now is a member of St-Theresa, the little flower, council 16005 and Cartier Assembly 860.
Since being in the Knights of Columbus , Daniel has always been on the executive of his
different councils and assemblies. Daniel is a past Grand Knight of council 16005 and
earned the first star council in the council history in 2018. Daniel just finished 2 year as
District Deputy of District 54.

Gerry has been a member of St. George Council #12124 since 2018, and a fourth-degree
member with Fr JL Reynolds Assembly 1670 since 2016. He moved to Ottawa after retiring
from a 34-year career with the Canadian Forces. Gerry joined the order in October 1992 in
London, Ontario. His second and third degrees were taken in Pembroke Ontario in 1993. His
fourth degree was taken in April 1998 at the Ukrainian Orthodox cathedral in Edmonton
April 1998 (along with 150 other knights). While in Petawawa, he assumed the roles of
District Warden and Grand Knight. In 2016 he was assigned the role of Pilot with Fr JL
Reynolds when he moved to Ottawa. In 2020-2022 he was the Faithful Navigator as well as
Secretary for the Archdiocesan Association in 2022.
